David has been providing advanced restorative dentistry and aesthetic treatments to patients for more than two decades. He is dedicated to rejuvenating smiles, successfully restoring natural function and providing treatments that are successful and predictable.
Qualifying as a Dental Surgeon from the University of Sheffield in 1996, David subsequently underwent formal training in implant dentistry. During his career to date, he has successfully replaced thousands of missing teeth using dental implants, as well as using implant supported treatments. Further postgraduate training culminated in his being awarded a master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry which he accomplished at Distinction level. He takes continuous personal development seriously and keeps up to date with the latest techniques and innovations.
David’s work focuses primarily on resolving his patients’ aesthetic concerns, which can range from chipped, worn or broken teeth to cases requiring full mouth rehabilitation, including smile design. As much as possible he will work with your natural teeth, or existing crowns/veneers or implants to create tailored treatment plans. When appropriate he will often collaborate with other clinicians and specialists at one80 Dental to help ensure his patients achieve the most natural, healthy and aesthetic outcome as clinically and physiologically possible.
Since joining the team at one80 Dental in 2016 David has brought with him extensive private practice experience and an impressive depth of knowledge and expertise. His work is underpinned by methodical planning, great attention to detail and well-established relationships with local technicians all of which result in consistently beautiful work. In addition, he is enthusiastic about encouraging his patients to embrace a full understanding of their own dental health and will support them to achieve it.
